Haha i know the owner is a little old lady. She doesn't drive the kayaks or canoes out the staff does who works for her. It's a family owned campground. They have great canoe rides, a cute fishing lake I've never caught anything in but other people have, outs alot of fun to get out of the canoes and just sit by or swim in the river. The sites are quiet by the lake, i can definately say when the grandkids being their kids up lol it gets really loud by the office all day and night! So I know for a fact if you like it quiet during the summer stay closer to the lake side not the office. The arcade is cool the kids all like it but remember the cost of arcades from when you were young, it's the same price so be prepared! Clean play ground and camp sites. If you ever have problems as with any place you tell the office and if it's that big of a problem tell the owner. They fix it. I love this camp ground. Great place to relax or being the family and friends.
Never Again! We have been here so much to Kayak. I would say 12-15 times in the last 18 months. We have brought in groups of 2-15 people. We went just recently and brought our own kayaks to use. The shuttle cost $10 each to transport the kayak (that is fine). We realized we forgot our Ores. We asked to rent some and we were charged $10 for each one. I had asked if she said $10 total, she said NO!!!!. I said Oh that seems a little high. She said don't pay it then and don't go.
