I showed up 15 minutes before closing time and was told that it was too late to get my hair cut. About a half an hour later (after I was done shopping) I walked back by the place and the girl was still in there playing on her phone
If you're into more modern haircuts, such as leaving the top long and getting an undercut, make sure you really speak up for yourself. A lot of the hairstylists in the area, from Hillsdale to this location in Jonesville, seem to not really get it. My hair was left uneven with tuffs sticking out and so my stylist did not really know how to handle curly hair (it was combed with a fine comb with no water or product put in after) and so my hair was left a giant puff ball / fro because I was their last client -- so I was rushed and not asked if I wanted my hair washed (which is included in the 15$ haircut that I was charged for), and at that point I didn't bother to ask for it because sometimes you just know when to bite the bullet and leave.
The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because I can at least fix some of these things myself but ideally I shouldn't have to. I am also doing this because if Jim still works there -- glasses, earring, not a full head of brown hair -- he is actually legitimately good and knows how to cut hair and use buzzers. But I haven't seen him in awhile so either he is gone or I just have horrible luck crossing paths with his schedule.
